Friday marked a historic day for collaborative law in Texas. The earlier unanimous approval of HB 3833 by the Texas State Legislature, establishing expanded provisions for divorces settled through the collaborative law process, was followed up by Gov. Rick Perry’s signature, establishing the Uniform Collaborative Family Law Act as statewide law.
